Review summary

The goal of the cruise was to see the Northern Lights but the weather was not cooperating. We finally had one night where there were no clouds and the Lights were visible. Read up on how to get pictures before you go. Bring clothes for below freezing weather, snow and ice! I loved this smaller (900 passenger) ship.

Snow and ice. I have been there before so I remained on board. I recommend seeing the Cathedral of the Northern Lights

Snow and ice. Once again, city center is a walkable distance. The bus tour was good and included a stop at the Planetarium which provides an excellent show on the Northern Lights.

Disembarked and cleared immigration. It was about a 90 minute ride to Heathrow.

Excellent. Transfer to airport was in small groups. Cleared immigration quickly and then on bus. Viking had their own porters at the airport to assist with luggage.

Sounds like you enjoyed the cruise. Did this cruise in 2022. The weather in the winter can be adventurist. We enjoyed it also.
