Review summary

Enjoyable cruise with some great ports and Northern Lights! Food and entertainment left a little to be desired, but we are glad we took this cruise.

Viking needs to do a better more accurate job of identifying allergens in prepared foods. Also, they need to make gluten-free options more readily available.

Spa was good, but the polar room was unavailable and hot/cold treatment we booked was cancelled twice.

Heather was FANTASTIC!!!! Other stage performers were okay, but not really entertaining. Other musicians around the ship were fun to listen to.

Interested to read this one, because I’m doing this itinerary on Viking, Venus, July 2023. I’ve just got off ovation of the seas, after five cruises in a row, and I realised that I’m sick of cruising. And now I think Viking Venus might be even worse, because I don’t have much in the way of entertainment. Oh well, what can I do?
