This was our first Viking cruise. I would give it a 4/5 overall. Don’t plan on being entertained. Much more chill than I expected. Also, much older clientele than I expected.

They had no onboard activities other than shuffle board, a small putting green and board games.

Our room steward was excellent! Food staff was inconsistent. Sometimes amazing and others just OK. You had to arrive early to secure a table with your preferred waiters.
The front desk personnel were always friendly and helpful.

The room was tiny, beds were hard and uncomfortable, but it was kept spotless!
The pace on the river cruise is much slower than the ocean cruises. The pace for the walking tours is very slow.
We like a fast-paced vacation. We are not looking for downtime.
Having said that, the food is excellent and the staff is very sweet.
