Review summary

The cruise itself will never be forgotten. We booked another one while on board. My discontent is in the post cruise extension. It was poorly orchestrated, not as informative as we had anticipated. Next time, we will do our own thing.

Beyond excellent. The welcomers practically grabbed our luggage out of our hands! They were so helpful.

Food was absolutely outstanding. One or two nights it was so-so but overall like a Michelin restaurant. The specialty restaurants were not so great, we preferred the main dining hall. Some nights we went to the buffet and the food was fresh, welcoming, and very beautifully displayed.

The nightly entertainment was delightful. There were plenty of lectures about the ports and other things, but we prefer to relax on board.

The deluxe verandah was a bit small for my husband and myself. There were only three drawers for storage but a large closet to hang clothes. We utilized every hanger on the ship i think. the amenities were great and the nespresso coffee in the room was a plus. We took advantage of the soft drinks and there was always water for embarkation at each port. A little pricey, but aren't we all worth it?

Ship tip

Lose ten pounds prior to sailing. Also, you don't need as much clothing because the on ship laundry was so handy. And, the soap was also available complimentary.
