We love Viking and the crew on this tour was outstanding!! We loved the all the tours. We went to the Black Forest and Colmar as well as those listed. I would highly recommend both!

Everything was fine. I just wished we had more time to see Basil Switzerland and Also Amsterdam as was offered when we booked the cruise. I think it was misleading to have us think these were actually part of our cruise. Also, there should be some additional transportation to get us in and out of the towns so as not to rely solely on walking. Too much walking.

We will definitely book a Viking Cruise in the future

Most of the sailing is at night so there is not much sightseeing from the ship. In some ports you might have an obstructed view because you are tied up to another ship. In most ports the ship does not dock in the city center. The buses for the tours don't stop in front of the ship except at Breisach Am Rhine, Germany.

This is one of the best vacations I ever had in my entire life. I highly recommend Viking cruise lines. They are very organized and prepared to make experience the best one you ever had.

I would go on this cruise again in a heartbeat. The best food, service , great included and optional excursions, wonderful cruise director and manager. Can't say enough about how pleased I was to be on this cruise.

It was a great trip - will probably do one again. We had great weather. The day trips were good. Plenty of other options. Good staff. The bartenders were really great - Daniel and Zsolt - very effient and friendly.

First time we had ever cruised and it was fantastic.  Crew, ship, food and excursions were top notch.  We keep saying that we weren't ever going to get off the boat, because it was so wonderful!  Only negative was our flight connections, but otherwise, it was the best vacation we ever had!

Black Forest stop took us to a commercial store beside a highway 👎 Views while cruising are nonexistent until Middle Rhine. 👎. Lots of walking needed at each port to get to the transportation. Too much $ for fine dining. We prefer land travel to be closer in towns. Next time we would take a local day ship in the Middle Rhine & travel by train in the region!!! Too much ship time, not enough local time without paying more for the optional trips 👎

Great cruise on the Rhine - you can't go wrong with Viking. Be sure and do "Top of Cologne" and the "Wine Tasting" - great excursions. Skip the dressy clothes, pack light and enjoy. Use the extra room for gifts you buy or maybe a bit of local cheese to bring home.

Too many photos to upload and not enough room to add an appropriate review. What is so very special about Viking Rhine river cruise was their assistance navigating through all the ports and the embarkation and debarkation and return home handlings. Once again a very very stress free vacation in a foreign country and would do it again. Thank you Viking for taking care of us.
