I highly recommend this cruise line and this cruise in particular.

Seamless, we arrived early using our own travel arrangements to Zurich where we spent a few days. The day before we were scheduled to sail we took the train to Basel and stayed overnight. We showed up at the dock and the Viking staff took over from there. The easiest boarding we have ever experienced.

You don’t go on a Viking cruise for pools or rock walls, you go to explore. There was plenty of opportunities for that. We were lucky that we had good weather the entire journey and could use to outdoor spaces. If we could not have done so the boat would have been a tad claustrophobic.
Entertainment

The DJ was a nice man who played the piano very well. The cruise director was very nice, very knowledgeable and well spoken.

Well designed and like I mentioned earlier, in good weather you have plenty of outdoor space. In inclement weather the ship would be a tad crowded.
