Review summary

P&O Cruiseline is a nice practical way to visit interesting ports of call. There is something for everyone.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth and received the luggage to our cabin quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good and plentiful. I would’ve preferred more of a variety.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There were various things to do for all ages.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The musicians were excellent. Unfortunately this cruise company permits children in the dance venues at all hours. Adults (50yrs+) had a difficult time trying to dance. Little children (3-8yrs) were laying on the floor or running amok. This was after 9pm until midnight.

Children's Programs

No children were in my group. However it must not have been good or parents wouldn’t have let their children run around the adult venues at 10-12pm.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff were professional, polite, and helpful. Especially Head Waiter Prem Sharma. He took a personal interest in caring about the experience for all the diner patrons.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean at all times.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabins are a good size and practical.

Ship tip

It is not as formal as led to believe. If you prefer to wear “black tie” do so. But a proper suit with tie is fine.

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

4 out of 5
Small country style town. Very nice.

Ijmuiden (Amsterdam)

5 out of 5
Very high paced city with plenty to see and do.

Bruges

5 out of 5
A must to take the bus into the town. A wonderfully old city. Rich in sites. Clean and welcoming-delightful.

St. Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands

5 out of 5
My favorite but take a tour as it is difficult to cover everything walking in the time there. We took the Guernsey Literary Potato Peel Pie Society tour. We saw so much and learned the history.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and uncomplicated.
