Loved the small ship. Veendam is older but well kept. As always on Holland America the service and staff are excellent. Our Suite was always clean and well stocked. Food was great along with the presentation and servers. Shows were great.

We decided the smaller ships are easier for us. Holland America does meet our needs. Love the attitude of the crew members. The drink package is a good deal.

all the staff are excellent, our room stewards were the best always friendly and our cabin was always clean and well stocked with everything we needed

The small area for swimming was crowed because a large Carnaval pulled in next to us. Shopping is the main thing to do if you don't take a tour. It was a day to enjoy the ship

The docking area is right in the old town of San Juan. Loved to walk around and have a drink or a bite to eat. The local restaurants serve some great authentic meals.

Got a taxi to Megans Bay for a few hours in the most beautiful black. Arranged for him to pick us up and he was right on time. 15.00 each for the round trip.
