I like Oasis class ships. Spectacular? However many trade offs from old days of cruising. No headline entertainment. Not enough pool space compared to Quantum class ships. Specialty restaurants good but overprice evidenced by emptyness.
Embarkation

Super easy - Cape Liberty has their act together.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining room was good. Specialty restaurants are over priced and empty. Cafes should have more variety as they are the only late nite dining options.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Oasis class ships do not have enough pools for 6000 people. Solarium is specacular. Mini Golf needs to be maintained. Very shabby and worn.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
No headliners except for the comedy club which was good. Dont know why Royal stopped booking headliner shows. Water show was excellent. Royal needs to rethink the entertainment reservation process. All shows get booked up months in advance yet there always seems to be room to get in on standby line. People hog reservations and then dont show.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Excellent.
Except for Next Cruise desk. I felt cheated with bait and switch tactics.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
great ship except for lack of swimming pools. 3 small pools get way too crowded.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Good storage space. I think all beds should be away from window near entrance. The door to the balcony gets too cramped when bed is against balcony windows.
Ship tip
Book meals times and entertainment months ahead of time because everything gets booked up. But you can usually get in on standby line.
Your comment on the pool is right. Also there is not enough table tennis. only 3 in the whole ship and every time I try to go there with my family , there are so many people waiting. Should have a reservation instead. The entertainment reservation is a joke. They didn't check for it for several days till the last 2 days. I also posted a review for the ship but haven't seem it posted . Probably because my rating was below 4.
