Review summary

we had constant issues with the seapass cards not working for the games. everyday something was wrong with the cards when trying to use it for the arcade games. We had to call for someone to come up and fix them and when we had money on it the card would get declined. The games weren't always working but still would charge your card and we were playing the arcade games frequently because of the lack of entertainment for our 9 year old. The shows were top-notch, but it was a little annoying that you had to make reservations for seemingly everything. We go on vacation to get away from our phones, but it felt like we needed to have them on us at all times to see what we wanted to do next and make reservations. The food was excellent and staff top notch. We had the drink package and it was quick and easy to get drinks.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
food and drinks were always easy to find and get access to. service was well provided.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Pool was very small and always over-crowded. We tried most of the family activities but they were few and underwhelming. Our 9 year old wanted to use the athletic area (basketball/volleyball/soccer) but it was always filled with older teens. the limited (30 minute) children sessions were often filled with older kids trying to pretend they were younger creating an overall unpleasant environment. There should be an athletic area for younger kids only.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
night time performers had great voices and energy. I wish we didn't have to make reservations for everything because if I would have known from the beginning then I would have booked things

Children's Programs

2 out of 5
We did not know about the kids club from the start of the cruise. It wasn't until our 4th/5th day in that we found out they had a place for kids ages 9-11. Besides the kids club, there were few activities for kids in this age group. They should have had more activities available for children because 30 minute sessions aren't enough for kids under 12 yrs. The older kids overtook the basketball court and only left when it was time for the younger kids to play their games.

Disembarkation

leaving the ship wasn't an issue but before getting off and having breakfast was the issue; we kept getting sent to different floors to grab breakfast before getting off which was irrigating and when we finally did get to seat down we were waiting 15 mins before anyone even came over to speak with us.
