I will never ever go on Royal Caribbean again. The kids all said they were bored and prefer Carnival. If you are 50+ and like basic drinks and entertainment then you will love this cruise.
Embarkation

They switched my sister and niece passport numbers in the system and it took them over 1 hr to fix it. It was horrible
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The steak houses were ok, wonderland, Jamie's and hooked was good. Drinks were average. Same menu at each bar and they were watered down. Some bartenders had attitudes as well. One put his finger in my drink, disgusting.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Kids were bored. This ship caters to older people 50+. Fitness center tried to sell me seaweed pills for $1300 dollars. Pools were very spread out and the activities were few if any.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
Again, this ship is geared towards 50+ age group
Children's Programs

They closed multiple times a day and were never open for dinner.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Room service opened the door for a relative and two children that was not in my room and they caught my husband and I in an intimate situation. Royal Caribbean offered $200 room credit and gifts for the two children that witness this situation as well, but they didn't provide the gifts. They gave us the run around for two days.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Everything was too spread out and hard to locate venues
Thanks for sharing your cruise experience. I also read your review of Jewel of the Seas. There were many things that you didn’t like on that ship as well and said it was a ship for people 55+. Sounds like cruising isn’t for you or you are very hard to please. I’m 50+ and have been on Symphony and many other Royal ships and loved them all.
