Review summary

This was a “bestie trip” Our first in the almost 50 years of friendship. We had a great time on the ship and during our excursions, for the most part. The ship was big enough that it never really felt crowded. Though during the Aqua show reservations weren’t honored. Everyone was let in. We had to sit in the splash zone. That was unfair. We arrived early enough that with a reservation seats should’ve still been available

We ate in the Coastal Kitchen as well as Hooked, Jamie’s & Wonderland. The food was all very tasty except for Wonderland. It was too weird with all the textures

We reserved a Casita for 2 sea days. It was comfortable and relaxing. Though #10 was surrounded by plexiglass and no breeze was coming through. I had to use my portable fan because it got too hot in there.

The cabin size was roomy & comfortable for the 2 of us. The balcony was small and the side panels blocked any side views.

Ship tip

Some of the decks are not thoroughfares. Sometimes you have to go down & across just to go up.

Our excursion was canceled a few days before our cruise. Not much was available to book. We went on the beach express which was a subpar resort with an unkept beach. No guide on the bus and no points of interest were mentioned on the way.
