Review summary

Can't wait to go back. Planning for next Feb again. We ate way too much but enjoyed every bite of food and every minute in the sun. Wish RCI would crack down on the vaping outside of designated areas.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth as silk. Had to get there early due to hotel shuttle schedule, but no trouble getting in and on the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Buffet was great with decent food options. MDR was awesome great food, but ship started to run out of fresh fruit two days before the end of the trip (no berries, bananas, or cantaloupe).

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fitness center was good, but several machines were out of order. Pools were nice but too many code browns in the pool for kids. Only one water slide was working

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Performers were beyond fabulous. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Except for the comedians they were weak.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff took care of every need or concern we had as usual. Rakesh and Robert we lights out. By far the best MDR staff we've had in 5 cruises.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was as expected from an oasis class ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was clean but the carpet needed a good shampooing as there was some definite stains.

Ship tip

Have patience on sea days. Staff is getting better about chair hogs but the pool chairs fill up fast.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Oranjestad, Aruba

Port was nice but not much to look at. Took the bus to Arashi and Eagle beach. Super easy and convenient.

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
Beautiful port. Rented a car from Smart wheels and drive to Playa Laguna and Playa Porto Mari to snorkel. Hands down the best we've had.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Did a walking tour (self lead) early in the day then got back on the ship to enjoy the uncrowded pool decks.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Super fast but breakfast areas seems to close earlier then we remember so had to rush to get something to eat before leaving.
