This being my first cruise, I didn’t know what to expect. I travel a lot and I avoided cruises because I heard rumours that cruising isn’t “real travel” and the ships are “just crowded and dirty”. That was my view on cruises for a long time. But this cruise completely changed my mind. I traveled to 12 countries on 5 continents this year. I traveled to some of the most incredible places on Earth and each has its own story. But I think I can honestly say that this cruise is one of the main highlights of my travels this year. I had an amazing time from start to finish. Royal Caribbean delivered world class service on a world class ship. The stories I tell about this cruise will no doubt, change the opinions of those who might have believed the same rumours that I once did. Thank you for an amazing experience.

I was very surprised by the quality of the food. The buffet in the Windjammer was very good. The main dining surprised me the most. The food was great, but the level of service delivered by the wait staff was over the top.

Loved Central Park and the boardwalk so much. The ship is beautifully designed and it is fun just to stroll around on sea days
Entertainment

WOW! The performances were incredible. From Hairspray, to 1977 with the incredibly talented ice dancers, to the exhilarating experience of Hiro. My favourite performance was Flight. I am an avid aviation enthusiast and I thought the show was absolutely perfect, right down to the actors resembling their actual historical characters. Well done

If I could put six stars in this section I would. As mentioned in the restaurant section, the service from the waters was first class. When I think of staff and service, the first thing to come to mind is Greg, our stateroom attendant. Absolutely unrivalled service! From the very first day when I walked out of my room for dinner and he addressed both me and my partner by name (on the first day!) hours after we introduced ourselves. I was very impressed, but only became more impressed as the cruise went on. He did all the little things right. Our room was of course clean and made up as expected, but I would be pleasantly surprised by things such as my water bottle being filled with ice water, and a polite, friendly greeting (by name) every time we bumped into him on the ship. I come from a background in luxury hospitality and I must say Greg sets the bar pretty high.
Ship Quality

The ship was immaculate. As mentioned above, I love the design of the parks and promenade. Made me wish I had more sea days!
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin itself was roomy, clean, and comfortable. Absolutely loved the balcony. The bed and sheets were also great.
Ship tip
Make sure you get out and enjoy all this ship has to offer. Look at the event schedules and book shows, walk around the ship, check it all out!
