We really enjoyed this cruise but were disappointed to see some things weren't available until after we boarded, like Chef's Table. Hairspray wasn't showing on our cruise, and the Solarium Bistro was also closed. It would've been nice to know that ahead of time. Royal Caribbean always goes above and beyond with their entertainment and service, and this cruise was no exception.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Easiest embarkation ever! We literally just walked right on the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We ate in the MDR, Windjammer, Wonderland, El Loco Fresh, Coastal Kitchen, and Park Cafe. Food was just okay, nothing special. The presentation was great, but I just feel like everything could've used more spices. Desserts overrall were disappointing. We really enjoyed the sandwiches at Park Cafe.
Onboard Activities

The fitness center was great
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Royal Caribbean's entertainment just keeps getting better and better. We loved all the shows. 1977 wasn't performed due to technical difficulties, so that was disappointing, but what we did see was outstanding. We really enjoyed Earl Turner and Flight. We saw iSkate twice. Hiro was great, but I didn't really understand the story.

Ship Quality

I was afraid the ship would seem crowded with so many people, but it never felt that way. We never waited for an elevator, and there were plenty of lounge chairs on the decks. We loved the addition of handwashing stations at all the dining venues, and the large bathrooms in the common areas were very much appreciated!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The Grand Suite was great! We love having a huge bathroom for a change. Although, we didn't have L'Occitane bath products - they were Malin & Goetz.
We made the mistake of paying for an airport transfer, and it was a nightmare. I will never do that again. There was a ton of confusion over where the bags went, the lines for the busses were chaotic with porters cutting in line and bringing people up from the rear, people giving directions outside the terminal gave conflicting information. The whole thing was just insane. We'll stick to Uber.
This was the same problem we had on the Harmony last January. Masks still required in doors, solarium bistro closed, grease not showing, and aqua theater closed. I hope things have improved since then!
Appreciate your detailed review. It appears that visas are becoming difficult to obtain for many crew. The cruise lines therefore are concentrating them on the everyday activities and stopping (temporarily?) the extra functions. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.
