Wearing a mask on board was not that big a deal.
We were all scared about the check in process and getting a test two days before getting on board the ship but it all turned out OK just fine it worked like clockwork. We had a great time we’re looking forward to our next cruise. We have one scheduled for December 11 and then a transatlantic on Royal Caribbean the end of April.

This is our 18th cruise with Royal Caribbean and I think the food and the service was like the old days excellent outstanding!

The shows the ice-skating the water show was extraordinary. The pool was really nice. The solarium was very nice we had a great time.
Entertainment

Hairspray was being performed on symphony of the sea during this cruise. It’s the first time I seen it live and it was really wonderful. I keep saying wonderful about this cruise but really it was wonderful!

It seemed like both crew and guests were excited to see each other. The crew went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. It was excellent.

Cabin / Stateroom

The end side cabin was nice but I prefer the closets on older ships than the one that we had on symphony of the seas. The bathroom seemed larger certainly the shower was. I wish there had been drawers on either side of the bed in the nightstands. And other ships such as the freedom class I seem to remember drawers available in the nightstands.
Ship tip
Call reservations and make your reservations for entertainment and dining as soon as you can get into your room and get to a phone. They sell out fast.
We spent time at the beach at Megan’s bay and the people were very rude one actually said “thank God for Americans” meaning these damn suckers! The Cashier was very rude the man that was in charge of the beach chairs was very rude the man that was in charge of the beach chairs actually use the phrase “stupid Americans” we reported this behavior to Royal Caribbean excursions desk on deck five. Royal Caribbean refunded us 20% on that excursion. That was very nice of Royal Caribbean to help us out that way. However somebody needs to step in and remind those people in the Business of excursions on that island that were so rude to us stupid Americans that it wasn’t that long ago when these stupid Americans were unable to come to your beach and pay you money to rent your Beach chairs. It could happen again.
Very fast very organized you don’t even see anybody you don’t see a human being at the immigration checkpoint you just look into a camera and that’s it.
The medical facility we had our tests done couldn’t email the results. From the time we left our house, through the flight, hotel and until we showed the results of that test Mr Margie must have asked me 100 times “do you have the results, show me”. 😂. He had me so paranoid I’d lose it. Never been more happy than to show them that dang paper & be done with it.
