We always love Royal Caribbean and they always provide a great experience. The ship was amazing and we would definitely sail on it again. This was probably one of my favorite itineraries, and I can't wait to get back to Coco Cay. All in all, one of the best cruises I have ever been on.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
This was my first time sailing out of the port of Miami, and I must say, with Royal Caribbean's brand new terminal, from curb to ship was MAYBE 15 minutes. As with any boarding process, security took the longest. Having checked in before the cruise, it made boarding so much easier.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Main Dining room food was definitely above average for Royal Caribbean. Windjammer was also very good. We ate at 150 Central Park and Izumi Hibachi. These specialty restaurants were phenomenal. The interaction between the guests and the chef is always so much fun, and makes for a great meal.
Johnny Rockets

Great food. So much fun eating there. Staff is always so friendly and fun.
El Loco Fresh℠
5 out of 5
The convenience alone is great. Add on to that delicious grab and go Mexican food. Whenever I needed a snack, I would go up to El Loco Fresh and grab whatever they had out.
Dog House

Love the hot dogs always. Every time I walked by I couldn't help but stop and get a hot dog.
Izumi

The interaction between guest and chef is always so much fun and the food is great.
Park Cafe

Very easy, quick grab and go food. Food is very good. Great spot for breakfast because it is not too crowded.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Pools and waterslides were great. Loved all of the waterslides on board. Zip line was a very fun and thrilling experience. I never got a chance, but I wish I could have done the flowrider, and rock-climbing walls. I also really enjoyed playing mini-golf with my family.
Ultimate Abyss℠

So much fun. I had seen videos before the cruise and I was so excited to try it. I probably went down it at least 10 times. Definitely try it out!
Zip Line

Very fun and thrilling experience. A little nerve-racking when you get to the edge but it is still very fun.
Entertainment
We wanted to go to the aqua show and ice skating show, however our plans never lined up, and we just ended up missing out.
Children's Programs
We did not travel with young children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
As usual, all staff were friendly, attentive, and personable.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We had been on Allure of the Seas a few years ago, and loved this class of ship. Symphony did not disappoint in the slightest. Ship was always kept very clean and looked very new.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
We had a Central Park Balcony. We had never stayed in this kind of cabin before, so we wanted to try it out. The room was great. Although, I will say that I prefer the boardwalk balcony that we had on Allure of the Seas a few years ago. This is purely personal preference, and there is nothing wrong with this kind of room. For anyone wondering, you can not hear any noise from Central Park bleeding in through the door.
Ship tip
On embarkation day, skip the Windjammer - it will be packed. Any grab and go restaurant on the Royal Promenade will be much easier, and just as tasty. Another good option would be El Loco Fresh on the pool deck.
This was our first time to St. Kitts, and we absolutely loved it. We got a day pass to the Marriott at St. Kitts, and it was great. We got to use the resort's pool, beach, wifi, and restaurant for lunch. It is probably a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the ship to the resort.
We aren't big fans of the area where the ship docks, so we decided to stay on board the ship. It was nice because it felt like we had the entire ship to ourselves
Royal Caribbean hit it out of the part with Coco Cay. We got a full day pass to the Thrill Water Park, and we loved it. The only negative thing was the line inside the tower for the tallest waterslide, however it is not worth giving it a 4/5 star review. The pools, and waterslides inside the water park are so much fun. We also stopped over at Oasis Lagoon, and I had one word, WOW! That pool was amazing. So big, yet it was never over-crowded. The restaurants on the island have very good food.
Disembarkation was very easy. We book a transfer through the cruise line to take us directly from the ship to the airport. This was very easy. The only bad part about the disembarkation process was that we had to leave the ship and go home.
Thank you for a well written review. It appears that you take the good with the not so good... and enjoy yourself regardless! Looking forward to getting on the Symphony in 98 days! 😎
