Review summary

First cruise for grandchildren they loved every minute. 3 adults had cruised before , all loved suite itself and suites lounge. 1 disappointed with Coastal KItchen not matching Luminae. 2 seasoned cruisers prefer Celebrity , the Diamond Club was a cave. All unimpressed by begging letter from concierges at end of cruise. we recognise privately those who deserve it like Erwin, had paid $1000 in gratuities anyway. Did not rate the concierges as doing good job.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Best embarkation experienced in 13 years. Eating lunch in Coastal Kitchen within 30 minutes of parking in Terminal, suites lounge before embarkation great idea.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food not as good as Celebrity. Windjammer buffet badly managed, people left outside while seating available inside. food in strange places, cooked eggs not near other eggs etc. Main Dining room better than expected has table for 8. Coastal Kitchen our main dining area, servers very good especially with children (3, 7, 9). Food not as good as Celebrity Luminae but very good. Drink policy for suites guests not as generous as Celebrity, eg my kir royale is free on celebrity $15 on Symphony.

“Do own babysitting and childcare.” You sound like a pompous a$$hole

We would never book a suite. We prefer to travel a lot and don't care about the extra's.

Sorry, not everyone can afford a suite....just saying.
