Review summary

You will not be disappointing with Symphony of the Seas. It's worth to get the dining and drink (if you are able to drink) packages. Makes for an all inclusive experience at seas. There is literally something for everyone on this ship. Enjoy!!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We were through security and on the ship in 20-30 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We did the unlimited dining package and the ultimate beverage package and will never go back! The specialty restaurants were out of this world and unique in their own way.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The Flow Rider was awesome!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The HiRO show at the aqua theater was the coolest things I've ever seen at sea. I'd book another Oasis Class ship just for that.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was great. Our room steward was always on top of things and ALWAYS remembered our names. Junrell was the man!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The Symphony has everything. My only comment is it could use more bathrooms. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Plenty of space in the room and on the balcony. The bathroom is a little tight but we are used to it having cruised several times before. Very clean as well.

Ship tip

If traveling in a group, it's worth it to buy VROOM internet access so you all can text with each other. Also, make sure to download the RC app and use it while on the ship...it comes in very handy. Finally, El Loco Fresh is the best place for lunch (and tacos)!

Ports of call

Basseterre, St. Kitts

5 out of 5
Probably the most beautiful and clean Caribbean island I have ever been to. We went to Cockleshell Beach. The beach is very nice but the amenities around it are underdevelopment. We did mind...there were places to eat, get drinks, and use the bathroom. Plus it overlooks Nevis as a bonus.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
St. Thomas itself is an okay island. Don't get me wrong...it's still beautiful. We went to Sapphire Beach and LOVED it. It was beautiful and the water was 50 shades of blue.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
The hype is real! They stuck A TON of money into this place and it's all top notch. Plus your drink package works on the island. We rented a Cabana on Chill Island and it happened to be be super windy that day so the experience wasn't the best. Our cabana attendant was on point with taking care of our needs. These cabanas are furthest away from all the actions so if you want to zen out, this is your place. If you want to be by the action then looks for ones by the slides.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was smooth and went very quickly. We had them take our luggage the night before and did the 9-9:15am disembarkation. Our luggage was waiting for us with no problems and the facial recognition they use for customs was quick and easy.

Drink packages are absolutely astronomically too high. Dining package is somewhat considerable

Thanks for the thorough review! This definitely helps for our upcoming first cruise. One question I had was how the debarkation process occurs and how long it takes?

If we just want to hang out on the beach in cococay do we have to pay to get in?
