Review summary

I have a very high expectations for the number one ship like symptoms of the seas. I heard from many friends that when you get on the cruise you will get that very well. So I was very excited that symphony will be even better since she is the number one in the world but turn out to be very disappointed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Main dinning room deck was really good , and buffet was also nice, just wish the food is more fresh. The congee smell for third day breakfast

Onboard Activities

It was ok, I was so excited that I can get in th enumber one ship in the world so my expectations was high starting from customer service, activity and friendly. There were not enough good show and everything has to make a reservation.

Service and Staff

The only best service is from the waiters at the deck 3 main dining room. They are excellent table 336. Other stuff is okay, I have a very high expectation for the #1 ship but the service came out not good. House keeping service was terrible , always rude over the phone and not willing to help. I couldn’t even ask for a bandage. He has to tell me to hang up and call guest service. When I dial guest service is ring back to house keeping. Not clear direction on the phone. Only room cleaner was good. Most of the stuff are some how not very friendly. They look exhausted at all time. One of the concierge from the suite was really rude. We were accidentally went to 17 floor which is suite and lounge, we were able to walk righ in to the lounge since there is no sign for private. We came out when we realized that Si is for suite member only as we make our way out to the elevator, one of the concierge ask us about our suite number as soon as she found out that we are not from any suite she told us this is a private floor going forward don’t show up here again and walk away close the door behind her. I was like what kind of attitude is that. First of all there is plenty of a better way to explain to the client about thei incident, as the number one ship in the world, you would think their stuff will be well train plus stuff who serve on the suite private floor? Second there should be a clear direction for any other guests not to get up there because it is private.

Ship Quality

Lay out is good but not that clean. The direction wasn’t clear. I wish there were a clear direction provided to us as a first time on the cruise and travel with toddler regarding where should we get information what to do when we get in to each island. Many people was asking each other around what will we do when we get off. There should be an announcement to let all the guests know where to get the information before we reach to each island . We all got lost, even though with an experience cruise travelled, not even mentioned me my first time
