Q: When will we receive our luggage tags? We leave in 2 weeks and haven’t gotten them yet.

A: I would think you would have received them by now but if you don't get them within the next few days, don't panic! In your cruise documents, you can print your luggage tags. There are instructions for folding them and stapling them together. I often... print these to have on hand to have in case of a luggage tag emergency 😃 ( needing an extra bag or somehow damaging the ones from the cruise line ). We have used the printed ones without any issues.See More

A: You can find the daily menus in the app. Go to "Dining" then select "Main Dining", then select one of the dining rooms (doesn't matter which one, the menus are the same). There's then a "Menu" option that lets you click through the days and see the m... enu for each day.See More

A: You can do both from one device. I would suggest trying to do the check in as soon as they open up. That ensures you getting an early check in/boarding time to start your vacation right away.

Q: First time cruisers here. Going on Symphony of the Seas in October. How will we know what is included on the ship vs. what charges will be made to our credit card? We know dining is included and we did buy the full drink package. we just don't want a huge surprise bill at the end. Thank you to anyone who can help.

A: Also, watching a (Youtube) cruise ship tour video of the ship you will be sailing on will help you know what is included and what is extra. The more research you do beforehand, the more knowledgeable you will be. If anything, check with guest service... s for any questions about what is included. On Day 2, head to Guest Services and pay off the gratuities for the duration of your sailing.See More

A: Specialty dining, spa treatments, Starbucks, anything bought in the stores are extra. Along with laundry. There may be more I just can't think of them now. :)

A: The Royal app will show you what your expenses are. Whatever is charged or whatever you spend, you can view it on the app. Make sure you both download that now before you board. It will have everything you need.

A: All suggestions were good. It just depends on how much money you want to spend on this one trip. I was just on Symphony in April and I found all complimentary restaurants to be very good. Personally, I found no need to eat at specialty restaurants... (saving considerable money).See More

A: gratuities. Up to $18 a day per person. You can pay in advance just call your travel agent or Royal. Last 2 cruises $0 owed at end. Pre pay whatever you can even specialty dining or spa.

A: Yes you can, if you have The Unlimited Dining Package! In all Specialty Restaurants you can, you can even dine in more than one during lunch or dinner if you are so inclined.

A: We have ordered multiple appetizers in the specialty restaurant, but I can’t tell you for sure about multiple entrees. I would think so, except maybe at hibachi, but the portions have been pretty filling as singles.

A: There are plenty of hotels in Newark NJ, which is about 20 minutes from the cruise terminal. There is plenty of parking at the cruise terminal as well and they charge a daily rate. A: I’ve seen the deluxe drink package go from about $66 plus gratuities up to about $79 plus gratuities. Those prices are per person per day. The prices vary on ships, dates, etc. I’d advise to not just look at the percentage off. Look at the price... per person. Royal will often increase the price, then put a higher percentage off and it really isn’t a savings. When you feel comfortable with the price, you can purchase and continue to watch the price. If it goes lower than what you paid, you can cancel and repurchase at the lower price. I would advise the same for the soda and refreshment packages as well. I would watch the prices from the time we book the cruise up until the week before the cruise. People will also say to wait for holiday sales or Black Friday but you don’t always get any savings those sales. Sometimes there will be great savings.See More

A: Most of the cruise company they rotate or change ports. For example, Symphony will be in Bayonne, NJ, starting May to October this year & next year again.

A: The fitness center is free to use. There are treadmills, ellipticals, stationery bikes, weight machines, free weights, etc. The equipment is free to use.
