Review summary
A great cruise to see many parts of Australia in a short period of time.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived early at the port and got an early board card. Did some exploring and came back a bit later just in time to be one of the first ones on.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Rating is based on the Chefs dinner which we did for the first time. Food and service was unbelievable!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We didn''t like being roped into the mini golf that you had to attend every day to stand a chance. There were so many people it took ages for your turn.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Love the stage shows - some are repeats for us but always happy to watch the good ones again.
Service and Staff

Ship Quality

The ship is getting a bit old.

This was an obstructed view. Let some natural light in.
The markets were good. Getting the cruise ship from town was a bit of pain as you have to walk over a very large bridge which is over the train line. Not great for those with walking issues or lots of luggage
Nice town that had great markets for those off the ship. Had a nice fish and chip lunch down the end of town. We had planned to go to a brewery but it was closed on the day the ship was in.
Not a fan of Melbourne. We did the hop-on-hop-off bus. It sat for so long as some stops and was so full you couldn't see out the windows for the sights. Did the Queen Victoria markets but didn't buy much and nothing took our fancy. Many stalls selling the same thing.
We did a another hop-on-hop-off bus that was fantastic. Got to go to heaps of places: a lookout back to the ship, a garden, whisky distillery with great lunch, bush walk, paper making.
We were the first ship back after the 2020 bush fires. Hired a car that allowed us to see much of the island. Cape Willoughby lighthouse, seal bay, local towns.
We disembarked in Adelaide and spent four days here. Lovely city - close to my favorite city in Australia. Love the city, zoo, gardens, trip to Handorf for the day.
