Very easy process. We took a pre-cruise tour through Show Me Seattle tours. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped off at the cruise terminal. They even managed our luggage.

We took the bus tour to Craigdarroch Castle. The bus tour guide was informative and nice. He made the trip interesting. Since we docked close to sunset we had limited daylight to work with, but we were prepared for this. The castle was a bit underwhelming. We were expecting something similar to the Biltmore Estate. The tour description described a 90 minute tour guided by a museum docent. In reality it was a five minute intro on the porch then a self guided tour which took about 20 minutes. Glad we saw it once but wouldn’t do it again.

We took the combo train ride/bus excursion. This was another great choice! We learned a lot and had a fun time visiting Caribou Crossing and Carcross in the Yukon.

We had a great time in Seattle before and after the cruise. We went on a three hour pre-cruise tour with Show Me Seattle. Our guide was great! After the cruise we booked the hop-on/hop-off bus tour through Princess. We visited the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass. Then, we went on an underground tour. When we were finished, it was easy to use the light rail to get to the airport.

Loved hiking to Nugget Falls at Mendenhall Glacier. The salmon hatchery was smaller than we expected but had a lot of good information. The salmon bake was very good and the staff there was very nice. We got into port earlier than planned so we had time to shop and eat lunch at the Red Dog Saloon.

The Rainforest Hike with high speed boat ride excursion was great! Our guides took extra time on the trip to and from the island where we hiked to allow us to watch pods of humpback whales feeding. It wasn’t specifically a whale watching excursion, so it was like getting two excursions in one!
