Review summary

This was a nice relaxing cruise. The ports of call were interesting and we loved the excursions we took to Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the beautiful Butchart Gardens.

Food and Dining

Ate primarily in the buffet. Food was plentiful but varied in quality. The desserts were beautiful and enticing but they didn't have much taste. Disappointing.

Onboard Activities

To cold to swim and we did not use the fitness center. No rock-climbing available and no miniature golf. Wanted to do Movies Under the Stars, but weather was an issue.

Entertainment

Entertainment was great. In addition to the stage shows, the cruise had an Entertainer of the Year contest which brought four additional talented people aboard. It was fun to vote for the acts.

Service and Staff

Our room steward was amazing. Waiters were very attentive even in the buffet. First ship we had been on where they will serve you water, coffee, tea, etc. not just alcoholic beverages.

The cleanliness was great but the layout was confusing and often tough to navigate. Too many things in the way to get from one end of the ship to the other.

Our cabin was very comfortable and kept clean by our wonderful stateroom steward.
