Star Princess was the ship me and my best friend Elaine took for my very first cruise to Alaska. I loved it so much that I was on the Sapphire Princess within a few weeks going down the West coast from Vancouver to the Port of Los Angeles San Pedro. Both of those trips were in 2008. In 2009 I took Sapphire Princess back to Alaska, which I appreciate because it is so unspoiled. Then I went on the Carnival Splendor to the Mexican Riviera. That was my first time on Carnival Cruise Lines. Now I have very limited income so I can't afford 7 day cruises. So in 2017 I went to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico on Carnival Imagination. Carnival is more affordable but I prefer the atmosphere on Princess, which is quieter and more dignified. I have booked my next cruise from San Pedro to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It will be 5 days back on Star Princess. Since it won't be during my birthday month, I will happily celebrate being back on Princess for the first time in 12 years. I have already bought 2 orders of chocolate-dipped strawberries for myself. 🤓 Princess also has something special planned for me on the same second day, first sea day of the cruise, so there is a surprise waiting for me! I am paying a small amount of money every month so I can afford to go. Nearly two years away and I am already excited! I was instantly addicted during my first ever cruise and this has become a major hobby of mine. My brother says that it's a good thing because I have something to look forward to. I definitely agree! Anyway, I recommend cruises to whoever is interested. It is a wonderful way for me to get back on the ocean. My Dad had a boat when I was young and I became an excellent fisherperson. We fished off of Catalina Island. I developed my great love of the sea during those years. I certainly can't afford to pay for my own boat, so I'm grateful for each time I can get on another ship. Besides, there is so much to do on board that I don't have to go ashore unless I want to wander around at whatever ports we visit. Happy cruising to all!

A full suite sounds great

Let’s see for 2 of us in a regular balcony including deposit is costing us 6400.00 for 10 days, a full suite I am guessing would be 10-12k Yeah we are NOT rich

Did you enjoy the club class benefits? If so what kind of extra food options did you get? You know made by your table etc...

A full suite sounds great but unless I find a great deal, I would rather sail twice in a cheap room than once in an expensive one.
