Review summary

our cruise was ruined by covid and of course characterized by isolation and quarantine. we were disappointed in the cruise experience with ship spaces not as appealing as luxury, food quality and taste inconsistent, and lack of expedition insights we thought would be connected to a smaller cruise touting a unique itinerary including nature stops. service was either very good or very bad with the latter relating to personnel either misunderstanding or choosing not to answer questions directly (like they had been given a script and not hear the question).

I was quarantined due to covid exposure and was told to social distance - I went to one music show that was ok to good but due to being unable to distance avoided others

service varied waiters and room stewards very good - other ship personnel at reception and medical dept and officer for hotel manangement didn't answer questions and were elusive or vague when pushed. The officer for hotel management tried to be helpful but didn't always get back or follow up in timely fashion.

don't expect luxury experience - food variable and service variable. expedition quality with education and informaton about nature and ports/itinerary minimal or advertising slanted

we were taken off ship last as covid exposure positive group and given ride to quanrantine hotel - nobody offered to help with luggage for very long walk to bus and bus drop off was at street with walk across parking lot to hotel entrance (again this for sick people).
