This was an excellent cruise and the best I have been on so far. I will definitely book more Windstar Cruises in the future and I recommend them without reservation.
Embarkation

Embarkation was smooth overall but it would have been helpful to have staff directing passengers to where they needed to go for different steps during the embarkation process. It was a bit convoluted and we initially ended up on the wrong line because no staff were around when we first arrived.

Food and Dining

Food was delicious, especially the lamb, filet mignon, and duck. Options seemed somewhat limited at times but the menus changed every day, so there was a lot of variety and pretty much everything could be delivered by room service too so we didn't have to leave the room if we were in a rush to get ready for early morning excursions...or just coming back to the ship/showering etc. Room Service was also really fast, usually took 25 minutes to be delivered, including items from the Amphora menu. The food service team was phenomenal.
For beverages, the mocktails we're great, especially the mojito. However when we tried cocktails with alcohol, they were weak and we didn't think they were worth the price.
Onboard Activities

There were lots of onboard activities, but we only attended half of them because we had booked so many early excursions we didn't want to stay up partying and going to shows. However, so many fellow cruisers would talk about the previous evening's events the next day and they had lots of fun! We are sorry we missed some of the activities.
Entertainment

Entertainment was great. We enjoyed the Sky Blue (?) Duo and also Grace's opera Concert.
Service and Staff

Absolutely excellent service from everyone.... except one staff member at the reception desk, who was a bit dismissive when we expressed surprise/concern that our newly built STAR class suite had been changed to a different lower category cabin (and in the older section of the ship) without our knowledge and without any explanation. She tried to convince us it was the same type of room despite the fact that it was totally different and even the ship legend/deck plan showed we were switched into a downgraded room!! However, she did information the director of guest services and he resolved the issue right away, upgrading us to a deluxe suite. We truly appreciated his customer service and thoughtfulness.

We cannot rate cabin 432 because we never saw it. It was "given" to someone else. However, we were ultimately upgraded to 431 which was truly fantastic. We LOVED 431 and it made our stay more enjoyable. Thanks!
Ship tip
Our tip would be to re-confirm your excursion times the night before because times often did change by 15 minutes or more. Not a big deal if it's 15 minutes later, but 15 minutes earlier could be problematic causing you to miss or run late due to a last minute time change.
The Opoa Heritage Your was absolutely amazing We learned so much from our excellent guides! Definitely the best of the land tours. Also, be sure to try SCUBA here. Matthew was fantastic!
