Review summary

From the day we arrived in Ft. Lauderdale it rained the whole trip. The balcony cabin had a completely obstructed view due to the life boats and becuase the cruise was totally sold out we were not able to upgrade. The entertainment the first night of the cruise was subpar and appeared to be middle school performance grade. The food at the Crown Grill was delicious but the buffet was not that great. Although the ship come with food there were multiple restaurants, I believe four of them, that you had to pay extra to eat at. This seems to be the growing trend on Princess. The ports of call were dirty. Belize and Roatan were full of trash every where you looked. Since it was storming the ocean was not calm and it was cold so we did not get to go snorkling even though we brought all our gear. Mexico's ports were cleaner but then you get accosted with people wanting to sell you things so you really can not relax. Once again it rained there too. Overall I have no desire to visit the western carribean again and will be looking at traveling with other cruise lines in the future. Not the best trip.

The entertainment was good some days but some of the entertainers were subpar and I am not sure how they got hired to perform on the cruise.

The staff used to be friendlier prior to covid and Princess took away the touches that made it princess like chocolates on the pillows and the towel animals.

The view was completely obstructed by the life boats. Emerald deck is not a good floor to be on even with a balcony. Will never be on that floor again.

So funny how differently guests see things! We were on the Sky Princess in Sept 2024 round trip from Southampton England for a 16 -day W. Med cruise. It was hands-down the BEST ship and overall cruise experience ever for us. We are Princess Captain’s Circle Elite level, so are obviously loyal to Princess in general. Very much looking forward to trying a Scandinavian cruise on Sky Princess sometime soon.

Well. All lines have restaurants that you pay for…specialty restaurants. We have always found their MDRs very good as well as the included options. Best to research your ports before booking so that you know what you’ll be in for. True of any type of vacation

The cruise line does not control mother nature. The ports are run by their country and the sanitation is up to them. Another cruise line that dock at the ports you complained about aren’t going to be any different. Always remember when reading this review it’s one person’s opinion.
