Review summary

This ship is short staffed and it shows in every area of the ship. Princess should do better. I left 2 pages of comments with guest services. I can only hope someone actually reads them. This biggest plus is Captain Tuvo, he can be seen anywhere at anytime and always willing to speak and have pics with passengers.

Anytime dining was a nightmare, crown grill reservations were hard to get, the buffet food was never hot

Difficult to make reservations from onboard in order to use TA gift and coupon book. Plan on 3 hours. Again, I believe understaffed

Many, many choices but almost nothing I sampled were more than barely warm. The staff kept the tables cleaned and stocked and brought drinks quickly.

Pool chair hogs out in full force. All the pools are designed with ladders for entry/exit. No stairs.

Future Cruise Center

We waited 45 min one day, still 5th on the list and the woman left 45 minutes before scheduled closing leaving about 20 people. When they reopen at 3pm, they just start a new list. Terrible customer service. This was a sea day both agents should have been assisting customers to sell more cruises.

Entertainment

The theater is way to small, in order to get any seat for shows you needed to be at least 1 hour early. So choose dining or show. Remember there is no saving seats

The ship is beautiful. I could see the hall carpets already stained and dirty though, perhaps it’s the light grey/white.

Deluxe balcony, good size, plenty of storage, enough room in shower, but the balcony is smaller than most ships

Be prepared for the ship to be one of the most expensive but lacking the normal Princess standards

It's funny how most people love the captain to be always walking around the decks meeting people. I prefer he/she is at the bridge making sure we are safe. I get nervous when all the leaders are at a party.

Actually it might have just been one of those things one cant help. Just like with any office where they have days of being short staffed cause everyone one is out sick with a bug. This actually happens on ships too because guest bring their illnesses onboard. I've actually seen this happen on ships. And it's not like they can cancel the cruise. They have to forge on and make the best of a trying situation
