This was our 2nd Silver Seas cruise in six months, and I give them high marks in most all categories. This ship was spectacular overall - with the staff taking top honors, followed by the food & drinks, ship design, and number of restaurants choices.

Outstanding and personable service throughout the ship. They remembered your name in each bar and restaurant, the butler called on us twice per day and if we weren't in the suite he would leave our bathroom setup like a spa.

As Silver Seas newest ship, it was well laid-out and modern, with fresh art and contemporary design. They kept it very clean throughout.
Cabin / Stateroom

This is our first trip in a standard cabin soiit was small. Previously we had a Grand suite on Silver Seas and Owners suite on Seabourn, so considerably smaller but all in all we made do. Closet was nice sized, room was clean, bath was "ok" for two but really missed the extra half bath and the larger dining area you get with a true suite. It is impossible to entertain in this small cabin.
Ship tip
It isn't for the younger generation. I'm 64 and was at least 10 years below the average age of the seasoned traveler on this cruise.
Looked forward to this visit but two different Cartel leaders broke out of prison just before we got there and state went into chaos. Couldn't dock as marshall law had been declared.
