Panama Canal was fabulous. Our cabin was disappointing.

Excellent. No wait at all.

Food and Dining

Main dining room had best overall food. La Dame supplemental was way overpriced at $160 pp. After their first meal, many shipmates cancelled their La Dame reservations - including us. The Chef's table was excellent - our best dining experience. They need an interior dedicated steak house . The outside al fresco dining at The Grill was humid, hot and sweaty or windy and cold.
Onboard Activities

French lessons. Nice surprise! Art was fun. Attended almost all lectures. Very interesting. Bridge play and a few lessons were offered but no beginner lessons. Would love to have Mah Jongg offered.
Entertainment

Enertainment was one of the best we've experienced in our many cruises. Loved that they imported broadway stars. Enjoyed the variety of lecturers too.
Service and Staff

Ranay (sp?) in La Terraza was amazing and very attentive. Minelli knew every individual's name who visited the champagne bar. So nice!
Ship Quality

Loved the exterior elevators. Also appreciated the light and airy feel with many windows in public spaces. A bad cough spread throughout the ship. We found ourselves sitting in far corners trying to distance ourselves. They should NOT allow people who are sick to go on excursions. Midway through the cruise there was severe coughing EVERYWHERE. Passengers never quarrantined themselves. There was severe coughing in the theater, dining and excursion buses. They need to learn how to control spread of germs and identify sick passengers. We took Airborne daily and thought we beat the germs but within a few days of returning home, both developed the cough.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin had a bad odor - like sewer. They sent an engineer who thought it might be the air conditioning. After that was addressed the cabin then smelled like dirty carpets from dog or pets. The smell never went away. We were awakend every morning at 7:00ish with the staff door repeatedly slamming shut. It was directly across our hallway. First 2 mornings the couple next door was screaming at each other and throwing things against the wall. We had to ask for someone to intervene. Where was the zippered touring bag that all ships include in the suites? I planned on using one so did not bring a bag from home. I had to purchase one on shore. Most passengers complained about the "jugs" of toiletries rather than identifiable personal sizes that are sealed shut. No one knows how long it has been since the jugs were cleaned or what type of soaps? Not appropriate for a high end ship.
Ship tip
Don't book a cabin across from the service entrance. Bring a mask and Airborne.
Cartagena seemed to have so much to see! Our guide was hugely disappointing as he just marched us through some streets with no descriptions until we ended at a church. He then tried to explain the importance of the church. Overall everyone was bored. Could not understand him. Need to allow visitors to enjoy the colorful streets and have time to for a little souvenier shopping.
