It was a nice trip. Weather was a bit disappointing, and the food in the main dining room was disappointing. Other than that. Excellent trip.

6 of us went and truly enjoyed Silver Muse and everything about the trip. Having so many fellow passengers like us contract Covid at the end is troubling-- the day we left they planned to reload all new passengers within 7 hours -- that's not enough time to sanitize that ship.

Two couples getting out of the texas heat and enjoyed the luxury of silver seas and beauty of Alaska.

Would definitely book SS again. Virtually No Kids!!! This is at the top of our list. Ship was super clean with zero fragrance smells Travel: Their travel dept doesn't ask for preferences nor think through connections or timing, so watch that. They will also put you on flights that require you to buy a seat, or put you on flights with short connections. The chauffer service (Blacklane) will also charge you if you are too far out which we get BUT, SS gives you one ride per person each way. Why not offer a couple that lives farther out from the airport an option for 1 longer ride. We had to pay an additional $160 for this service. Standard WiFi,,,, don't waste your time, it barely works sometimes, super aggravating! Had great food at all places. Some "included" wines are not available all day. Something you have at dinner will mysteriously be unavailable at lunch. This happened multiple times so it is certainly systemic.

This cruise was wonderful. The accommodations, food , service and ship were wonderful.

Alaska was a secret bucket list destination for my wife. I now know why. It exceeded my expectations. We like to taste and sample new things and Silversea delivers. Having everything included means the decision comes down to do I want to try or not. Some day we will slow down and try room service but with 8 eating venues and 7 days the question is why? Men bring dockers, a jacket, and a couple of shirts and you are gold every night. The women dress up for the gals not the guys. Black is the most common nightly color and looks great. With every passenger making this small effort at meeting the dress code the ship feels sharper and the evening is full song, food, drink, and class.

We really enjoyed our cruise. Silverseas is a luxury line & it shows, they are a little too luxury for our taste. There were 3 formal nights, about 8 informal nights & the rest casual. My husband didn't like the fact this meant he was wearing a jacket to dinner almost every night. We prefer cruising a little more casual. There is not much to do on the ship other than the casino & evening shows, but we got off in every port so it wasn't a big issue. The land tour across the south island was our favorite part of the trip. All of the staff were top notch and service was great. We truly celebrated our 40th anniversary in style.

Overall, I would give the trip 5 stars. The personalized service is wonderful. We loved the smaller ship, as it gave us an opportunity to meet many people from all over. Everyone was friendly. I would highly recommend the trip. It might be worth springing for the private tours to avoid a lot of downtime and less time just traveling to and from excursions. Nothing is close by where the ship docks for the most part.

Our trip will be a fond memory because of the entire staff of the ship. Although service was not always perfect, every crew member that we encountered never failed to make us feel welcome and pleased that we chose the Muse as our first (but not last) Silver Sea voyage.

Everything was first class! This was or first cruise on the Muse and loved it.

Overall excellent cruise and experience. A few issues that could be refined to deliver a consistent experience. They must develop a plan to deal with children that are not properly behaved and parents that are not able to acknowledge or control their children's disruptive behavior.

All food was included. Fun shore activities. Loved bingo and trivia every day for prize points. Great staff. Food included besides better wine for a cost. 2 specialty restaurants, kaseki, the teppanyaki table restaurant and la dame the French restaurant. Those 2 specialty restaurants require a reservation and $60 US Dollars per person

The Silver Muse is beautiful. Interior is simple elegance, comfortable and relaxing. 

The beds were amazing and the food was outstanding.  The Veranda staterooms were all that I expected. We didn't use the outdoor veranda or dinning venues because the weather was chilly and it was not comfortable. In the summer months it will be awesome. The reservations for dinner situation was confusing and difficult to at first. Once we got cruising we were able to contact the restaurants directly to obtain reservations.  Not what I would expect for a 6 star cruise.  They need to tweek that. La Tarazza should be made into open dinning. I personally don't want to plan every night in advance. We enjoy large tables for dinner to socialize and meet new friends. The way it is set up now you don't really have that opportunity so you dine alone. If you make friends and want to dine with them you have cancel made reservations for all involved and try to get a larger table. That is a task. 

We sailed on the Silver Muse's first two sailings, a total of 22 nights in pure luxury, the ship is amazing as you would expect, the food was sublime, our favourite eateries was the Atlantide followed closely by the Indochine. All the staff tried very hard to make sure everything was taken care of and nothing seemed to be a problem. We became friendly with the main entertainment team (Mary, Johnny, Kate, Clarissa, Kevin & Josh) the shows they performed were brilliant we saw most of them twice they were that good. Jimmy the cruise director and his glamorous assistants (Jenny & Kirsten) were brilliant he is so funny and always greeted you with a huge smile and firm handshake. The itineraries were excellent from Spanish wonders, Italian coves & French sheik. We did witness a few people complaining about having to book restaurants, we never found it a problem getting into our choice of restaurant, I guess it can be down to how you speak to staff, we are always polite and appreciate any assistance given, not the case with certain people we witnessed being rude and demanding. It was a toss up between the two restaurants above which one we dinned in the most, I think the Atlantide came out on top, if you like fish or steak then the Atlantide is the best, the Indochine was brilliant for Asian fusion food, and if you give the head chef notice he will cook you any specific Asian dish, we had one night Chicken tandoori & Chicken Madras, simply was Devine, we shared the evening with Kate from the entertainment team, super host, very glamorous indeed.
