Wonderful 5-star experience. I will definitely travel on Silversea again in the future. Only looking at cruising on Silver Moon or Silver Dawn - the newest ships in the Silversea fleet. Onboard dining at Atlantide & La Dame were our favorites but all of the dining venues onboard were very good. Our butler was very helpful & professional. Silversea can improve communication to guests from the Cruise Director by emailing information on daily dress codes & daily classes or special events at least one month prior to embarkation.

Ship tip
For this particular cruise; the cabin we selected was on the wrong side of the ship. We were not able to see land as we cruised closer into port.
We spent 3 days pre-cruise in Barcelona. Three days was not enough time to fully explore the city & visit the top sites. Because I admire amazing architecture; I would flag Gaudi’s La Sagrada, Park Guell, & Casa Battlo as top sites we visited while in Barcelona. Also Montjuïc cable cars & castle is another must do.
Segway Tour of Valencia- Only 1.5 hours- too short to see top sites. We opted to do an extended tour on our own & spent time touring Valencia’s beautiful modernist architectural City of Arts & Sciences.
Andalusian Spanish horses is a must-see excursion! Loved the beautiful dancing horses accompanied by a flamenco dancer. Also enjoyed the historical bus tour of Cartagena before & after the Andalusian horses.
Opted to do Granada & the UNESCO SITE La Alhambra. So rich in history & architecture La Alhambra is a must-see while in Spain. This extension tour was totally worth the added $199 per person. Included a very delicious lunch at one of Granada’s best restaurants. The restaurant’s interior design & furnishings so complementary to the style of Alhambra.
Opted to do full day Seville excursion to the Alacazar, Plaza de Espana & Seville Cathedral rich in history & architectural details! Worth the additional $149 per person.
3 days post cruise in Lisbon was not quite enough days to fully see the top sites of this city of 7 hills & many, many stairs. Must wear athletic shoes to do the walking tours. This is my favorite city in Europe. Beautiful old-world European architecture, spectacular vistas, cobblestone or tiled streets & sidewalks; Vibrant, happy colors of the city & friendly Portuguese people make Lisbon such a charming city to visit! We also enjoyed visiting Sintra’s Pena Palace, Cascais & Guincho Beach beach towns outside of Lisbon.
