One of the smaller ships so Regent has less money to spend on entertainment. Ships design is challenging to find a public restroom near the eating areas.

With Regent you pay price, it’s all inclusive. Air, hotel, transfers, uncrowded shore excursions, specialty dining, unlimited beverages alcohol & non, gratitudes. It was carefree having a second glass of wine with dinner or specialty coffees. We so enjoyed our KLM flight ANS to YYC, 9 hours of pure heaven on a plane, included in the one price. It was so nice not being nickeled & dimed, paying ridiculous amts for everything.

You should inform the elderly about the stairs to tenders, the need to get in and out of tenders for excursions, and the need to be physically capable of getting in and out of vehicles, walking for excursions. Many were having problems.

Book your shore excursions early. If your a night owl nothing happens after midnight, everyone is sent off to bed, New Year’s Eve finished at 12:25, very disappointing.

She may vibrate in the stern and she has no forward lounge, but her crew, intimate size and amazing food makes for a luxurious cruise. Highly recommend. Past reviews had us worried but needn’t have been.

Locate your room as close to the front 1/3 of the ship as you can. The ship has a lot of vibration in the rear while cruising at faster speeds.
