Great variety of shows, Kids were never bored, the food available at all times was great, the staff was super and ports of calls were great. I highly recommend that the ship departs at a later time while at St Thomas and not a 4:30 PM. Also, If docking at night, allow people to go out and enjoy the night life such as in Barbados and St Thomas.

The ship was very well managed and extreem clean.

We just returned from a 7 day southern caribbean cruise on the Serenade of the Seas. This was our first cruise and was a wonderful experience! The satff were wonderful throguhout the ship and very accommodating. The food was excellent in the Windjammer buffet, Seaview Cafe and the dining room. We had 5 ports of call which made for a very busy trip! My only negative comment would be that the pool is too small for such a large ship at a capacity of 28 people. I would highly recommend this cruise!

Overwelmed!! Beautiful!!

This was our third RCI cruise, but our first since our daughter was born. So maybe taking our toddler on a cruise at the age of 2 and a half was not the brightest idea. She did great but I felt like we missed out on a lot of the activities and night time entertainment. The ship was smaller than expected, but beautiful as always. Our room on the 4th floor was about 50 feet from the center of the ship where dance parties were held. The door to our state room blocked out about 98% if the noise. When the crowd was screaming that was the only time I could hear the noise clearly. The staff was amazing. I realized how messy and inconsiderate people could be while watching the crew clean up after us. They didn't skip a beat picking up cups and dishes that were left in hidden corners throughout the ship. If they grumbled under their breath they hid it very well! Over all, we liked it so much we booked a 12 night cruise for next year while on board. Hopefully our daughter will get more out of the kids programs next year.

The layout of the ship is very nice and never seemed crowded anywhere.

We really enjoyed our trip. It was fun, safe, interesting and economical.

Beautiful ship. Had all of the amenities and entertainment we wanted. Food was excellent and plentiful. Customer service was impeccable.

the ship was spotless at all times, everyone was fantastic, we had such a great time and as soon as we docked the last day, my husband and I were already planning our next trip.

After having cruised on the Enchantment in 2009, a ship in unsavory condition complete with roaches on the buffet counter, I was hesitant to book another RC cruise. However, this particular cruise on the Serenade fit my schedule and visited ports that I like. The Serenade was certainly far and above cleaner, friendlier, less cluttered, and in better condition. Why, however, does the ship leave a port at 5:00 pm when its next destination is so close? I believe it's to get people back on board to buy beverages, shop, and utlilize the casino. I'd much rather spend time in port perhaps enjoying an evening excursion rather than hustling back to the ship by 4:30 pm.

The ship was on the smaller side, but there was still plenty to do. The pool and upper decks got very crowded during the at sea day, so make sure to get up early if you want a spot at the pool. The crew was very friendly and helpful. The Cruise Director, Marc Walker, was amazingly funny and made the week fun and entertaining. Sadly, he's moving to the Monarch of the Seas ship in May 2012. The food quality in the dining room was excellent and the wait staff was superb. We got a free voucher for two to go to a specialty restaurant for booking with CheapTickets.com. We chose to go to Chops Grille and the choice was fantastic. The filet was excellent quality and very good. The wait staff was top notch at the restaurant. I would definitely spend the money to go to Chops Grille again. Overall we would cruise on this ship again.

This ship is smaller than the one we went on 2 years ago and it was nice to see familiar faces after going on excursions and to see our room attendant regularly and visit.

The facility was beautiful...hygiene exellent..food great

This was the cruise of a life time. Every port has so much beauty to offer, it was just unbelieveable. We did not purchase any excursions from the cruise line, instead received much cheaper deals at each port and saw the exact same things as those passengers that booked excursions. I HIGHLY recommend this cruise as we were only at sea one day, so every day was a new adventure.

The ship was magnificently kept, with excellent service. The only problem was the television in the room was old, poor quality and needed to be replaced.

The ship is large and most areas get very crowded during activities. The ship is well appointed and clean. You are charged extra for almost everything. They even offered back stage tours of several areas of the ship for $150.00.
