A big waste of time and money. Food was not good. Entertainment was spotty and not great. Charging for sodas as a complete and expensive surprise and really awful port choices. I expect better, much better
Embarkation

Getting on the ship itself was uneventful except for the stevedore transferring our individual suitcase loudly demanding a tip
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
So royal Caribbean is now charging extra for soda, which was not disclosed in advance. Very few places to get the very limited free drinks. No where to refill water bottles. No free bottled waters.
Main dining room food was of poor quality. Walmart steaks. Buffet was better.
Specialty restaurants were $90 a person per meal. Who can take a family to this???
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Rather limited activities. Contests like trivia with zero prizes. How cheap are you Royal Caribbean?
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Few shows. Some nights none at all. Unless you want an Elton john impersonator, your options were limited. Comedy juggler only did one show but was good
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Staff were nice and efficient
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Ship was mostly clean
Cabin / Stateroom

Tiny cabin. Not set up correctly when we arrived in spite of submitting requests well in advance on the app. (The app was poorly done by the way and often not useable. )
Ship tip
Do not go. Over priced and not very well organized. Ports in canada where awful. Nothing to do and nothing to see with in walking distance of the ship. Our one excursion was canceled after we waited and hour and half. I wish i would have gone on a globus or trafalger tour instead
Tiny. Nothing to see or do. Who in their right mind would pick this place?? Complete waste. We walked around the town for 2 out of the 8 hours we were docked then went back to the ship. Very disappointing. Not even tourist shops. Best place we went in was a drug store for Tylenol.
Once again a huge disappointment. Silly me, i assumed RC would pick great destinations or else why go?? Did not happen. Dirty, sketchy town with nothing to do or see with in a half hour walk of the ship. No onboard descriptions of the ports. Huge disappointment. Once again we walked around-mostly uphill- then just went back to the ship
Bar harbor is always nice but i did not like the two hour wait for a tender to take us to shore or that our excursion was canceled at the last minute. We had booked a lighthouse boat tour. We were told the tour operator canceled all boat tours but we saw them operating once we got to land. What gives??
We were definitely ready to leave. A big disappointment where RC was just trying to take your money as quickly as possible and not giving fair value in return.
When I was a little kid in elementary school, I could buy a milk for a nickel and an ice cream for a dime. We all should be able to buy ice cream for a dime!!
No water bottle filling places? Glasses of water are free every where, just not bottled, which has never been free, nor has soda. And specialty restaurants arent $90 per person unless its the chefs table experience or something like that. Fake review.
And as for the Walmart steaks, I personally have never had one….obviously you must have. You choose the itinerary, Canada New England is a great itinerary, Princess Cruise Lines offers a better one. Next time use a travel agent, we cost nothing but have a world of knowledge based on experience to share…..just don’t call me.
Obviously you don’t cruise much, or at all. Sodas are not free, nor is bottled water on most cruiselines ( Disney may be the exception if you can afford it). You cannot request a way for the room to be set up, you can ask for twin beds of course, but often they don’t do that till night time turn down….I agree that’s dumb. Entertainment is always full of impersonators….did you expect Taylor Swift?
Royal Caribbean used to have special cups for free refills of sodas, but you had to pay for the soda package to get the cups. Not sure if that's still the same.
