Review summary

The cruise director CARLY B. was great. Nothing further to add.

Embarkation

The raining day was outside the cruise lines control but the treatment of the baggage was. Racks of luggage were left on the pier waiting for loading to the ship without ANY rain covering. Lots of soft sided cases soaked.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We like half-n-half for coffee. Main dining room (deck 4) sends staff to the Windjammer (deck 11) whenever it's requested. Resulting in cold coffee. Windjammer stainless steel jugs for half-n-half are unlabelled and sometimes both containers are milk.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Orchestra was amazing for all the performances and headliner shows. Lead male singer CALVIN was off key and a duet with the leader female singer (DEENA - who was excellent) performing SHALLOW was painful.

Tried SEA TREK for the first time, great experience. It took almost 45 minutes to leave the ship pier due to the staffs management of the waiver form and wrist bands. Participants didn't match forms; then forms handed back and recollected. Royal needs to supply waiver form with tickets onboard to speed and simplify process.

Disembarkation

ONE AND A HALF HOURS of pain. Worst experience ever with staff blocking waiting line to customs control. Drivers at a malfunctioning traffic light do a better job of alternating flow.

We were on Oasis a year ago and had the same problem with coffee creamer. I bet whoever is in charge of RCL food and beverage isn't a coffee drinker
