Review summary

Wonderful cruise! Met lots of great people! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We got there a little early & had to wait 20 minutes to get called.... it really wasn’t bad.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
99.9% of food was great!(scrambled eggs weren’t good) Especially loved our Mystery Dinner!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We really didn’t do a lot of the activities, but there were plenty of options.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Vibeology - The show itself was terrible, the performances were okay. It definitely wasn’t the quality I expected from Royal Caribbean. Other shows were much better!! Definitely more what we expected. Carlo in the Crowne & Castle Pub! Chester in the Schooner!! Switched on Band (the girl with hot pink hair) in the Centrum!! She was amazing!!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Ivana & George in the Schooner bar were great!!! Ellis, at the pool bar/ theater bar, was fantastic!! Tamara, Glen, Aaron at pool bar also!!! Judas and Ison in the main dining room!!! 👍🏽

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We loved the elegance look vs. the ‘fun, party’ ship look! Yes, she’s older, but we enjoyed her!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It’s a little smaller than the larger ships, but more than enough space. The balcony is a larger bump out & we enjoyed sitting out having coffee in the mornings. We were a little nervous about the smell of smoke coming up from the Casino, but we never found that s problem. The room is the second down the hallway & once they shut the hallway door, we heard very little noise from the Centrum.

Ports of call

Ponce, Puerto Rico

2 out of 5
This is a new port, and not a lot of options. When we went into town, they have a large police presence. If you go 1 block off there is none and it’s not a secure feeling. They are trying to make it a destination, but they have a long way to go!

Basseterre, St. Kitts

5 out of 5
Wonderful! We did the Rail and Sail excursion through Royal Caribbean & loved it!!

Castries, St. Lucia

4 out of 5
We did open air bus to a beach. It was beautiful! However, they charge for everything!!! $1.00 each time you used the restroom!! $10.00 for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Take extra cash to this stop!

St. George's, Grenada

5 out of 5
We went to a Spice Plantation and learned a lot. Then we went to a Rum Distillery to learn how they make Rum & had a 4x4few samples!

Bridgetown, Barbados

4 out of 5
4x4 Jeep & Harrison Caves - great driver (and a little crazy!!) not much 4x4 time, mostly town driving. The caves were neat to look at.

St. John's, Antigua

4 out of 5
We did rum tasting tour. We thought it was a distillery, but it was at a local bar. Everyone was great and full of information, it was just a little uneasy to go in and have them padlock the door after us.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Going through customs took a little while, but we only had 7 agents to get us through (not the fault of Royal Caribbean)... it still wasn’t terrible.
