overall the ship is adequate and the crew is good, but the sofa bed in the stateroom was terrible

buffet was good with good variety. the dining room steaks were either bloody or gray with no in between. the drinks were average but overpriced.. we ate at giovani's and the portions were enormous but the food was not special

room steward was great. all waiters but one were very good. watch out for the photographers if you have more than one state room, you can only buy pictures of people booked in your stateroom and this was not explained anywhere until we tried to purchase them.

Chuck and I were on The Serenade Ultimate Baltic with two overnights in St Petersburg! I agree with all your ports, I would give them 5 stars except Helsinki. Have no desire to see Helsinki Finland ever again! The fact that our cruise ship tour guide on our excursion was TOO opinionated, said WWII was a war where Fins felt no one was at fault, sided with neither and it was only a bad situation was the icing on our opinion Cake! With ALL Americans on that excursion, we felt she should not have voiced that!
