We have been on 22 cruises and this was at the top of the list for a great adventure. Would return with the same ship and itenary. Remember the livelihood of all these islands are dependent on tourism. If you just say no thank you and move on the people do not bother you. I always try to buy from the street vendors as they are trying to make a living just like the rest of us.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Our embarkation was so quick and easy, couldn't hardly believe it.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
We only ate in the main dining room and windjammer. Both were good experiences. Servers were very professional and attentive. Drinks are pricey.
Onboard Activities

Entertainment
5 out of 5
Our cruise director Carley B. was the best we have had on any cruise. The entertainment was good especially the stage shows and the band was phenomenal.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our stateroom steward Junior met our every need. Head server Senise and assistant Raphael were great.
Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
It's not home but for the 2 of us we had plenty of room. So much to do you don't spend much time in your cabin anyway.
Ship tip
DO NOT over pack. You don't need all the clothing we drag along with us. Bathing suit, shorts and night time apparel is all you need.
We took and excursion Bay Garden Resort. We had the best time. Beach was beautiful, had massages, 4 free drinks and lunch included. The Resort was beautiful and all the employees were very friendly. if we return to St. Lucia I would go back in a heart beat.
Left the ship early for an excursion Safari 4x4 Harrison Cave. It was so much fun, we rode in an open 4x4 truck and got to see so much of Barbados. Breath taking scenery, bluest water and miles of beaches.Had rum punch and Eddie our guide was great. So personable. Went thru the forest saw alot of different plants and then on to Harrisons Cave. There we rode on a tram and went 270 feet under ground to see waterfalls.
This is one of the most beautiful and cleanest islands we were on. Went into town in the morning and took in some shopping and sight seeing. We went on a tour by motor coach thru town, to Curaco Distellery and all for $20. I never felt uneasy in the area at anytime.
Took a taxi to Palm Beach. We had been there over 30 years ago and some big changes. Beach was pretty with white powdery sand but ocean was rough that day.
This was the only disappointment we had. It's a shame it's the last thing you experience. We have never waited so long in lines to get through customs. 2 hours from the time we got off the ship to when we got through customs. It was a nightmare. Felt sorry for elderly who were having trouble standing that long.
