Review summary
We have been on many cruises and cruise lines , but never Royal Carribean before, and never again will we go on this line . The food was poor quality, cooked terribly, potatoes raw, steaks burned or ice cold . There were also very limited choices for a nearly 2 week cruise . Tofu and spaghetti with marinara sauce appeared every night in the main dining room . Fast food would have tasted better . We spoke to many people who had been on this line before and had gold status and all were shocked by the lousy food . To be fair, some servers were good, but in general they were rude, had poor attitudes and appeared annoyed to be working there. The shows were also way below average. We wrote to Royal and outlined the issues and never gut the courtesy of a response from them . The food on Norwegian is far superior and gourmet , take that line out of Boston instead .
The indoor pool, solarium was very nice on royal .

Sorry you had a bad time with RCCL and the Serenade. We have sailed RCCL three times and all have been no less than average. You wrote that you wrote to RCCL about your experience. Did you write an actual letter or use their "Contact Us" link on their site? I have always mailed a review to the cruise line post cruise as opposed to using the lines "Contact Us" link. If you did write a letter to RCCL and mailed it, just be aware it can take about 90 days to receive a proper written reply from them.
