Review summary

I'd like to offer you some constructive suggestions for your Customer Service personnel and your Guest Services desk. They both are in need of 'further training,' especially in the category of Smiling and Courtesy. There is quite a 'I'm better than you' attitude AND a 'you're wasting my time' air about them. They really need to remember that they are 'there for the people cruising,' not the reverse. ALSO, there was an incident that was handled VERY POORLY in the Chops restaurant.(Apparently, a person on the Cruise wasnt able to get into Multiple rooms with their room pass. Instead of asking the person to step outside the Restaurant, there was a heated exchange INSIDE!!! Three different personnel on FOUR successive visits inside the Restaurant argued with this Patron, disturbing everyone's meals! Very poorly handled!)

As well, our bed in room#4045 was extremely hard and barely usable. We could manage with the bed, and if assured that the Customer Service and Guest Relations personnel would seriously improve, we would consider returning. However, at this stage I would recommend that my friends NOT Cruise on this Ship!!

Food in the Windjammer and Reflections was only Fair. If this is done on purpose to 'drive' cruisers into your Specialty Restaurants--you've succeeded.

Ioulian Nikolof and Sergio Ramos Diaz in the REFLECTIONS restaurant were Great. Also, Sergio was fantastic in the Windjammer. Ursula Salmienta, in Giovanni's restaurant was excellent.

Everything about the room was excellent except the BED. We found it very 'hard and unforgiving.' Our stateroom person, Sheridan, was terrific. Continually upbeat and helpful.

Ship tip

Improve your Customer Service and Guest relations. Have them 'ditch the attitude. I found them to be pompous and rude. However, the 'wait staff' and servers/bartenders couldn't be more helpful and courteous.

I completely agree that fhavelock should bring this to Royal Caribbean's attention but I disagree that this is not a review of the cruise. these comments are exactly what other users of ShipMate should hear. maybe fhavelock could have given some pros in addition to these cons.

I'm sorry you were so disappointed in your cruise. Your "constructive suggestions" should be directed to Royal Caribbean. This site is NOT Royal Caribbean. ShipMate is a public forum where people leave reviews of their cruises. That being said, you should direct your comments and suggestions to Royal Caribbean, directly, especially if you want or expect an official response.
