Embarkation

This cruise was Pre-Covid Round Trip from Vancouver 12 nights on Seabourn Sojourn. Even though I had ALL paperwork in order seems pier check in made passengers go through multiple stations, for the same procedures

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
As this was my first ever cruise, didn’t know or had any expectations of food on board a “ultra luxury “ cruise line . The Food was good but seemed limited. I was expecting more seafood selections as it was a “ultimate “ Alaskan cruise.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I enjoy exploring the ship , and requested and received a Ships Bridge Tour.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows seem to start while guests were finishing up Dinner

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Anna my cabin steward was a absolute GEM ! Attentive without being obtrusive. Helped me navigate the cabin/ships offerings as it was my first cruise. Decorated my cabin for my Birthday .

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Being a first time cruiser , I had nothing to compare it too. I dislike crowds, and thus choose Seabourn as it runs smaller luxury ships . Little to No lines or waiting. As Seabourn runs all Ocean rated ships I knew they were built to handle the worlds seas. Ship was very well maintained, no visible rust or ware was noted .

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
My Veranda suite was nicely appointed with LOTS of storage space , Marble bath had double sinks , separate Tub and Shower.

Ship tip

Shore excursions can be expensive. I mainly went off on my own .

We were Docked a few miles from town , but Seabourn had comfortable coaches running to shuttle passengers into town.

CRUISE TRACY ARM & ENDICOT ARM

5 out of 5
Absolutely beautiful and a definite highlight of the trip. Can’t believe the Captain maneuvered the ship through the ice to within a short distance from the Dawes Glacier. Seabourn brought in a excursion boat and stocked it with snacks, drinks, and wait staff . Was able to see the Glacier calf a few times.
