Cruise line.com calculated a 4.8 out of 5 rating. I calculate it at 5. Why? Because it’s impossible to factor in the intangibles. This cruise was critical for me to be able to realize my dream of an “Around the World “ trip. It’s a trip that I’ve waited more than 65 years to do...more than 22,200 miles, every time zone on earth...and I have MS to boot.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
I’m a breakfast food person, desserts person, and the rest of the food person. I was happy with most of the choices in the Restaurant, the Colonnade, and The Grill. That being said, there’s no restaurant that is a one size fits all, that’s why they offer choices. I was ecstatic about breakfast at the Colonnade. The morning breakfast buffet was IMO...world class. The menu choices were excellent, and as is truly a Seabourn tradition, if you don’t see what you’d like...ask for it....if it’s possible to do...they will.

Team trivia, the lectures.

The performers are top notch and could easily star in Broadway or West End productions, as many do.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room stewardess, Daniela, was excellent, caring, paid attention to detail, in tune with our needs. The restaurant staff rotate among the various restaurants in the evening so we would see the staff from morning to night. Our server from breakfast in the Colonnade, Can (pronounced John) was excellent and we looked forward to his smile and attentive service every morning for 19 mornings. We sat in his section by choice because of his great service. There were other staff on board who also did a fantastic job, too numerous to mention.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ovation is about a year old and still sparkles. Cleanliness and maintenance was exactly what one would expect from a luxury cruise line.
Cabin / Stateroom

Amazing storage space in our veranda cabin. There was so much storage space that we were still discovering places on the last days of the cruise. The size of our cabin was comfortable and more than adequate. The bathroom was very well laid out and included a separate tub.
