Very small TV. Had an interior as tend to not spend much time in room on the NZ cruise.

Ship tip

Don't get your hopes up on getting into the fjordlands as weather may stop it happening

Ports of call

Brisbane, Australia Did not visit port

Cruise Fjordland National Park Did not visit port

Weather didn't allow it.

Port Chalmers (Dunedin), New Zealand

5 out of 5
We got the bus into Dunedin and visited the museum, railway station, and Chinese gardens. Got off at Port Chalmers and walked back to the ship.

Akaroa, New Zealand

Lovely little down that gets overridden with ship passengers. We did a small group tour on a mini bus that visited a few places we hadn't been to before.

Wellington, New Zealand

5 out of 5
We love Wellington, but as we have been here a few times, opted to do a quad bike tour which took up the whole day (through the ship). It was an experience I won't forget as quite full on. Not one for the fainthearted.

Napier, New Zealand

5 out of 5
Napier is a beautiful town. We did the aquarium and had morning tea before heading back to the ship early.

Tauranga, New Zealand

5 out of 5
We walked around Mount Maunganui which took just under an hour. Headed back to the port to get a bus into Tauranga (too far to walk). I needed to get my glasses fixed and was super impressed when the store fixed them for free while I waited.

Auckland, New Zealand

4 out of 5
Auckland is a great city but this time we did a wine tour through the ship over to Waiheke Island. First we had to wait an hour for everyone to show up. By the time our group got on the fairy it was full to capacity. Our bus driver on the island had a cold and his driving was shocking (stalled the bus a number of times and ran over someone full size rubbish bin). Half the buses air-con didn't work. Tour went from 9am to 3pm and no lunch or opportunity to have lunch was provided. Wouldn't go back to Waiheke again.
