Relax on sea days, enjoy the ports, catch as many shows and different restaurants as you can. And participate! Even us introverts could have fun. Never miss Scarlet Night.

MUST order room service breakfast. Best at sea. Best anywhere.

Get out of your comfort zone.

Go with an open mind, an empty stomach and a desire for fun!

Just relax and really let the cruise sink in. It takes the first day to really understand you are on a resort and not a cruise.

Book shows early. NSA and 50 Shades of Play are 2 must sees!

This line appeals to a young audience (20’s and 30’s). Activities align with this age group too. Set your expectations accordingly. The majority of people I spoke to were first time cruisers. Also, Virgin is very LGBT friendly for passengers as well as crew so if this is your thing you’re likely to find the experience positive.

Pack a red outfit for Scarlet Night. Bring your own water bottle to keep hydrated. Confirm your excursion night before as ours was cancelled.

You need to be intrigued and willing to engage in risqué behavior. And so does your partner. If you don’t have that… don’t cruise Virgin

Bring something red for Scarlet night

Just know this is different type of cruise experience. Eat the ice cream. It is amazing. Go see Isack in PINK Agave.

make sure you find the 18 deck. if you want to go top less, that is the spot.

If want to see and take advantage of everything this line offers, suggest at least a one week trip. The short cruises leave you wanting more (perhaps by design) without the ability to see all the major entertainment, participate in activities,

This cruise line is easily 40-50% LGBT+. Didn’t bother us too much, but it was very in your face. Very flamboyant entertainment crew and sailors. They were allowed lots of leniency with clothing and actions. Meanwhile straight sailors were treated to a tighter standard. Not our thing, but like I said, we didn’t let it stop us from having a good time.

We were afraid the 300 dollar bar tab with the 100 bonus they gave us wouldn't be enough, but it was more than enough. The drinks are cheaper on Virgin than other lines generally charge. The last day most people were buying other people drinks at the pool and various bars because we all had plenty of extra money left on our bar tabs.

Make sure to book dinner reservations as soon as you have your shore excursions booked. You can get on the waitlist for the specialty restaurants as well. Also make sure to log into the ship’s wifi while in the terminal to start booking workout classes and shows that require reservations. There is a standby line for the shows.

Make your dining reservations as soon as you board!
