A: I sailed with Virgin last month. I was able to book excursions on the ship. Also, keep checking the app because some people may cancel.

A: Dear Juricell.. we are traveling one week before youkind regards
Answered by ManuelyAlicia on June 14, 2024
A: Haven’t taken excursions when we went on our Virgin cruises but I will tell you one thing to ensure you take note of is at 45 days out they open dining reservations so you can get all of those set to make sure you get to go where you want to eat.

A: Agent on ship said “ would not book enemy on 14 way too noisy under pool deck”
Answered by liebson on September 23, 2024
A: we've stayed in top decks under the pool deck when people have told us it's noisy. we've never had and issue. we are not heavy sleepers, but I would say we are light sleepers either. if you're a light sleeper you might want to consider at minimum mo... ving forward or aft. otherwise I wouldn't put too much thought into it. pool decks are closed late at night anyway.See More
Answered by SchmonkeyBoy on September 23, 2024
A: I agree, that's why I would not book a cabin on the 14th floor. I don't feel like hearing dragging chairs over my head.
Answered by nurseycindy on May 15, 2024
A: We have been on this ship twice and have not stayed on deck 14 but I can tell you that is the top deck of staterooms so all the common area would be above you. Not sure if it is extra noisy in those rooms, however, that could be a reason people are... telling you to not book them.See More

A: You can forget the pools as they will be packed. Dinners were not an issue but finding a table and getting warm food for breakfast is an issue in the Galley
Answered by joefirm on June 1, 2023
A: Was on ship two weeks ago at 90% full and no difficulties at all. Pool area is small, get there before 10 for a chair but ship was never appearing crowded. But absolutely book your dining reservations the 45 days before sailing or else you will hav... e difficulties in finding dining slots aboard ship. You’ll have a great timeSee More

A: I am on the same sailing! It sounds like I should plan on pre-ordering ship eats for breakfast.

Q: Has anyone have issues booking a cabana on Bimini? When I try to book it states that I must book onboard. Does that mean there aren’t any left or they are holding them back? Thanks!

A: It’s probably good that you’re not able to book a cabana at Bimini. They are just little huts built out of sticks and really not needed or worth it. There are plenty of better places to lounge and enjoy the party at Bimini at no cost.
Answered by abbydoodle on April 30, 2023
A: I thought the same thing about the cabanas as the other poster - not worth it. But, what I noticed on this last full sailing was the benefit is not having to worry about a seat. You can meander down whenever you want, you are guaranteed shade and a p... lace to store your stuff. My next sailing is almost two months away and the cabanas are all showing unavailable, so I'm hoping they hold some back for when we get on board.See More

A: Really question if it is worth the $500 price. They are not luxurious and pretty basic looking. Plenty of places in the shade and frankly who can spend that many hours by the pool to justify that cost. If you get there before 11 many many chairs... and lounges with umbrellas available on the beach or pool.See More

Q: Is the mobile absolutely required to cruise about any Virgin vessel?Virgin removed Oreo from the list of supported OSes for Android.

A: I don't think it is, but it will help for sure. it will have your cruise check-in documents, health questionnaire etc in it and speed up the boarding process. But you can also have that done by the crew when embarking.
Answered by Schlinger on February 14, 2023
A: Once on board, the app allows you to reserve restaurants and to see which ones are open, how much you've spent on drinks and the like. But you don't NEED it, you can spend money and open your cabin with the wristband they give you.

A: Yes, the espresso I had was deducted from my pre-purchased bar tab. As was the Chai Latte. That said, I found these coffee drinks very underwhelming. The espresso was thin and sour and the ice latte watery and a bit weak in flavor. Will try again... when I see another barista thereSee More

A: When we cruised in July of 2022 they suggested making reservations but you were able to get seated at most of the restaurants. I’m not sure how it is going to be now that the ship is at full capacity. I’ll find out in a little more than two weeks!... Love this line, hope the experience is mostly consistent from our last.See More

A: Strictly speaking: no, they're not required. It says "we always reserve a few tables for walk-ins" somewhere on the app. But some speciality restaurants are very popular and I would highly recommend you do ask for a reservation in those as you othe... rwise risk getting unlucky.See More
Answered by Schlinger on February 14, 2023
A: Yes but you do that through your app on your phone. We did a few people get in without reservations.

Answer QuestionA: I think they leave it to the individual but you should represent when going to one of the restaurants otherwise the galley is always a great choice when you want to be comfortable. A: "we're very chill, but please: no swimwear in the restaurants" is what I read on the app. I saw a guy in shorts and a t-shirt in the Wake yesterday. did not see a single suit or even a dinner jacket anywhere.

A: The consensus is it’s very casual from everything I have read!

A: Got a Great Tattoo on our cruise in July 2022 and am planning another when we are on Scarlet Lady in a couple of weeks! The artists there are top notch and are extremely talented and good people! Would recommend them versus any on land shop any day... ! Check out my review in the ship review section and the pictures, mine is the sick one with the Virgin Red eyes (yes they have their own color)!!See More
Answered by amorad2112 on April 21, 2023
A: Maybe it was closed one day or on one sailing — but current guests are talking about the tattoos they are getting.

Q: Howdy y’all!!! Are drinks in the price to get on the ship??? I am looking to go on Scarlet Lady and was wondering if that’s included or if I need to set fund aside to get a drink package. Thanks.

A: Juices and soft drinks from the fountains are included, as is natural or sparkling water from those fountains. there's also natural or sparkling water in a carafe in your cabin, replenished on demand via the tablet in the cabin. Cannes soda can be p... urchased for $6 and wine and cocktails for $10-20See More
Answered by Schlinger on February 14, 2023
A: They don’t have drink packages, you can pre buy a bar tab. Right now, if you buy a 300 dollar tab, they give you an extra 50.
