If you’re looking for an elevated and unique cruise experience without encountering a bunch of rugrats running around without supervision, then this is the cruise for you! You can fully be yourself on this cruise and meet some of the most amazing people. I’ve been with NCL for almost 10 years and after this cruise, I’m switching over to virgin. I already booked my next cruise before this sailing ended!

Embarkation was a breeze! And I loved how personable the staff was at the terminal. It was also pretty nice coming on the ship and being told that all of the cabins were ready.

The food was amazing! The dessert at the restaurants and the galley were top notch. There were plenty of options available onboard and unfortunately, I wasn’t able to explore all of them. However, I was never hungry.

There was plenty to do on the ship. the schedule wasn’t filled with a bunch of boring activities like they have through other cruise lines.

The entertainment was definitely very different but in a good way. Some people may be used to the broadway style type of shows on other cruise ships and may not like the shows on Virgin. However, if you have an open mind and wouldn’t mind seeing a drag show on a cruise ship, a sex themed interactive comedy show and a dance party, then this is the cruise for you!

It didn’t feel like a typical cruise cabin. It felt like home. I felt comfortable staying in the cabin. And omg that hammock! It’s very comfy!
Ship tip
Make sure to book dinner reservations as soon as you have your shore excursions booked. You can get on the waitlist for the specialty restaurants as well. Also make sure to log into the ship’s wifi while in the terminal to start booking workout classes and shows that require reservations. There is a standby line for the shows.
It was easy! All of the info needed for disembarkation is on the app. They show it as “homecoming guide” on the home page of the app. Also they showcase where to disembark on the screens in the elevators. When I got off on deck 7, there was no line to get off the ship. And the line to get through customs went by very fast.
