Not sure if we would book again. It’s different than other lines. Probably would definitely book virgin if we were going to cruise during Christmas or spring break though. We’ve done those weeks and can have upwards of 1,000 kids on other cruise lines. Virgin would be a must during those times of you want a children free experience.

I was a bit hesitant about this cruise, as I knew I didn't fall within Virgin's target demographic of hip, young, fit, beautiful people (I'm none of these). That said, I'm so glad I went, and definitely plan to cruise with them again. This is a different approach to cruising, is far more inclusive than I expected, and an all around great time. I recommend Virgin Voyages for anyone who identifies as a "foodie", people who like a more casual and relaxed atmosphere, people who enjoy more "adult" entertainment, and anyone in the LGBTQ+ community. That said, if you have very simple tastes in food and love your standard buffet, are socially conservative (i.e. are uncomfortable with sexual innuendo, and gender/sexuality fluidity), and/or like a more formal or traditional cruise atmosphere, then this is not the cruise for you.

Adults only, everyone is friendly and open, no worries about tipping everyone you come into contact with, beautiful cabins, tons of places to meet up and lounge, fun and different entertainment (some amazing and some just ok), spontaneous entertainment, tons of photo spots, relaxing hammocks, fun staff, fun exercise classes, so much to explore on the ship, delicious food and inventive restaurants….I could go on and on.

No smoking a nice plus and a different way of cruising. Liked some of the speciality restaurants. And don’t forget to try the pizza and ice cream shops. And get the app installed and on it when you get onboard with the ship wifi. All happens from the app so good luck leaving your phone off/in cabin.

At the end of the day, this cruise sucked. It was the worst cruise I've been on mainly due to the staff and the sheer boredom I had onboard. Thanks to the staff being completely clueless about direction, I missed my priority boarding, the vip lounge, and even an excursion that they threatened to not refund me on when I asked 6 people who worked for Virgin Voyages WHERE TO GO. I only found the right way because of locals on the island. Virgin tries too hard to be different when they don't really have to. Just keep the adults only, good food and beautiful ships and they would be amazing. There is a lot more that I have to say so if you haven't seen my full review on youtube I would highly recommend it. Just search MrBucketlist Virgin Voyages Review on Youtube. I don't think this is a bad line, I just had a horrible experience and it's unlikely that I'll sail with them again when I've consistently had great times on other lines.

I would definitely return. Virgin did exceed my expectations. A very pleasant and different way of cruising. Specialty Dining for every meal included in the price of the fare.

This was my first time cruising with Virgin. I typically sail with NCL, so that’s what I used as my baseline to compare - I’ve yet to have a bad cruise! I sailed solo on this trip, and from the moment I stepped foot on the ship I knew that this cruise experience would be different, in all the right ways. First things first: no kids!! I can’t stress how much this matters to me and improves my cruising experience as a mid-30s childfree solo traveler to not have any screaming kids running around underfoot. The cruise was so much more peaceful and enjoyable. I really appreciated the status match perks (Deep Blue Extras). I took advantage of the free laundry, premium Wi-Fi (which worked wonderfully), specialty coffee credit and of course the extra sailor loot. I did not end up using the free “shake for champagne” perk. I had to contact Sailor Services a few times for various reasons and they were all super helpful and quick. Overall I loved this cruise and did book another while onboard for next year. I absolutely see myself adding in Virgin to my regular cruise rotation, likely several times a year if the price is right.

Turned into a last minute solo trip. Was amazing.

The food was amazing. The crew is phenomenal. Great shows. Chill vibe. Relaxing and fun cruise. Scarlet night was my favorite.

Tattoo shop was my favorite place however we enjoyed the entire ship including the private cabanas on deck. Can’t wait until our next cruise on the Scarlet Lady this May 2023!

Overall it was a very nice cruise. You can make a cruise what ever you want it to be.
