Review summary

The weather played a big part in our cruise. It rained the entire time and the water was very choppy. Our two ports got canceled because of the weather and we ended up going to Cozumel. I am a very laid back person so this didn’t bother me. I was just happy being able to relax and be on vacation.

Embarkation

Embarkation was pretty smooth. My arrival time was 1:45. Once we were let in and started the boarding process, I think we were on the boat between 20-30 mins.

Food and Dining

The food that I had on the ship was really good and so were the drinks.

Lick Me Till...Ice Cream

Ice cream was good. Menu changes daily.

The Galley

The Galley had all types of food. I ended up eating breakfast there (had a French toast sandwich), bacon and hash browns, a cheeseburger, a crunchy PB&J on Brioche. They make an amazing mimosa and screwdriver.

The Dock House

I had some grilled shrimp from The Dock as well as a Golden Horizon. The shrimp was amazing and it was kind of yogurt sauce drizzled on it. The Golden Horizon was my favorite drink.

The Pizza Place

I was here at least twice a day. I ordered a classic pizza and added pesto and tomato to make it a margherita pizza. The wait is usually 20-25 minutes if it’s crowded.

Razzle Dazzle Restaurant

I ate here for dinner. I had fried green tomatoes and old bay wings for an appetizer. They both were really good. I had chicken and biscuit for my main course. The biscuit was so good and fluffy, the chicken was good, they could have seasoned it a little bit more, but it was still juicy and tasty.

Onboard Activities

I didn’t really do any activities. I did use yhe karaoke room and had a blast. Went to the casino and won a few hundred. Other than that, didn’t really do any activities. I usually just relax on my cruises.

Entertainment

I didn’t really see any shows, they didn’t have a good variety. I went to the comedy show but he wasn’t all that funny to me.

Service and Staff

The service and staff was amazing! Everyone was so helpful and cheerful. They made sure you were okay and didn’t need anything else.

Ship Quality

I think the ships design and cleanliness was great. The only thing I didn’t like was that the pool was so small, but that’s not really an issue.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I had a solo insider room and it was enough space for myself. I liked the decor of the room and that you could control the room with the tablet they provided. That overhead and shower and side shower felt so amazing.

Ship tip

Book your dinner reservations asap because they fill up fast. You can still go to the restaurant and be put on the stand by list, but since we had unexpected extra sea days, everything got booked up.

Disembarkation

Now I’m not sure if their disembarkation is always like this or if it was just because of our late arrival circumstance, but it wasn’t organized in my opinion. Everyone was coming from every which way trying to get off. It wasn’t organized at all, but again, I do think it was because of our situation getting back to port and there was really no communication.
